Samantha Miles currently attends Millikin University and is a second year nursing student. When she is not at school she resides in Ashburn, Virginia where her mother, father, brother, and sister live. She is the VP Finance of Alpha Chi Omega and President of Alpha Tau Delta. Love Through the Years by Author Introduction: Throughout my haiku learning process I have run into many obstacles. I never seemed to be able to find the right words and the right things to talk about. One day though it made sense, I needed to write about something that hits home for me and that's where my title for this book comes in. If you asked anyone who knows me they would tell you that there is always only one thing on my mind and that's love. So for this book I compiled some of my best love haiku and I don't mean just the happy cheerful ones either. This collection tells the story of love from childhood and into the later years in life. When I write I like to spill my heart in a way. I want to let my readers into my heart and soul and I want them to be able to relate my memories to their own. fallen petals We all have these memories about following in love with someone who doesn't like us back or that sweet summer romance and I want to repaint those images for my readers. |
