Global Haiku Tradition--Tan-Renga 2007

(write capping verses for at least 4-5 of these)

drop of red wine
stains the white linens
harvest moon

crows eat the kernels
the tractor leaves
behind

black starry night
staring below
the yellow lines become one

yellow tulip
moist with dew
reflects the morning light

on his fingers
used charcoal
the blank pad

college love
baby in the oven
what to do now

pub patrons laugh
my Japanese fan
passed around

sharing the room
the brothers gossip
of their first dance

your silhouette in the corner
wicked you stand
holding her hand and glancing away

best friends forever
that forever
came too soon

his eyes tell me
I love you too…
waiting all of our lives

faith family,
and friends
my lighthouse

Twins?
. . . just best friends
the teacher still calls me by her name

loneliness before
feeling winter’s bitter
wind again

the inch worm
moves
across the dollhouse furniture
