they hop on the snow pile
more flakes fill the air


her slender fingers
stinging painfully
launching another snowball


long day
of sled riding
wet underwear


beautifully sparkling
snow tracks inside
a soggy mess


snow gently falling
nestled in bed
his cardboard box


Dad's snow angel
   stronger wings
       than mine
